Help HIP Company record Bedlam
Raised: $16,000 of 26,000
Thank you for making Bedlam possible, and supporting the future of Baroque music in Western Australia.

In 2023, HIP Company will record our second album, BEDLAM, a musical exploration of the dark fascination with madness and the human psyche in the Baroque period.

The album, based on one of our most popular live concerts from 2022, presents an unprecedented combination of thrilling operatic arias by Jean-Philippe Rameau, ‘Mad Songs’ of Restoration England by Henry Purcell and John Eccles, and dramatic instrumental works within the theme, including Antonio Vivaldi’s masterful La Folia (‘Madness’) trio sonata. Featured artists are Sarah Papadopoulos and Eliza McCracken (violinists), Bonnie de la Hunty (soprano), Krista Low (cellist and violist da gamba), and James Huntingford (harpsichordist).

We’ve received some amazingly generous support so far to get this project off the ground, but we need your help to raise the remainder of the $26,000 we need by the end of April 2025.

Tax deductible donations (over $2) can be made by bank transfer to:
